Sentry Circle - North Yorkshires own stone circle!
Welcome
to ''Sentry Circle''
and thank you for looking.
We have built a new stone circle here on my farm, it is a magical and
tranquil place. It is in deed a sacred place with the beautiful
energies building day by day.
The farm is situated near Northallerton in North Yorkshire. We have a
vision of creating a sacred space and a sense of community for all who
come here in friendship and peace.
The initial project of building of a stone circle as a spiritual focal point on the farm is complete, each stone in the circle is called after a tree from the Celtic Tree Calander and has the strengths of the tree, the Sentry Stone pictured stands guard over the circle.
The Family stone to the west represents the unification of our world family and was erected by my daughter Sarah, her husband Richard my good friend Kevin and myself with sarcred pebbles placed underneath from my daughter Rachael's stream in Ireland as well as sacred items from Sarah and myself. The welcoming stone stands to the north east of the circle and represents the birth of a new community.
The Turf Labyrinth is also complete and as it is cut into the hillside below the stone circle its path goes up and down as does lifes journey. On the domestic front we now have some superb ecoloos, the start of the Remembrance garden and are in the process of building a childrens area.
Our
next major project is the
building of a Viking Longhouse as a communal and educational project.
This will take time and any help will be gratefully recieved.
We have regular camps organised by the ''Freind of Sentry Circle'' at
festival times, these are looked after by our 5 camp elders.
The site is also available for group and private camps as well as individuals who would like to camp/visit here to experience the magical spiritual energies on the farm.
